Newborn photography session with Tayrn {Newborn}

In early January I was blessed to photograph Tayrn’s newborn session. Tayrn was about 8 days old when I photographed her. You might of remembered the maternity session I had. Review the photography session Click here

She was an angel, quite and resting during our session.

At times, Tayrn gave us some cute smiles.

I love traveling to my clients home for their session. Seems that the babies and parents are more relaxed in their own environment.

Amanda bought some cute headbands for her daughter. One does want a hint of color!

Here you see the beautiful bond growing between mother and daughter.

I recently purchased a new lens which I used for the first time during this session. I love it!
It’s sharp and quick and captures great color. The lens is a Sony 28-75mm f/2.8.

Here is father Chris with Tayrn.

Not scripted at all, Tayrn reached for Chris’s face touching it saying hello daddy!

Winding down our newborn photography session, Tayrn let’s out a nice yawn.

Chris and Amanda, thank you so much for having me back in your home. I had a great time not only photographing your family but spending time with you guys. You both are such great parents! I can’t wait to return.

Sheya {Newborn}

Today I want to share a newborn photography session I had with cute baby boy Sheya. You might remember his “Sneak Peak” This shoot was totally cool as it was the first child for Steve and Jila and a first at Anthony Lujan Photography to photograph both sets of grandparents.

Meet Sheya

This little guy would not fall asleep. He wanted to totally soak it all in.

Peaceful moments cherished by Jila.

He was moving all around. I seem to always capture the babies flipping me off. hahaha

I totally dig natural expressions I’m able to photograph.

I love these moments I’m able to capture between mom and baby.

Steve and Jila have some beautiful furniture and I wanted to use their house as my backdrop as well.

I love this photograph as Steve said he doesn’t smile much in photographs. I happen to capture this natural expression.

At first I was worried about how many people were going to be in the room as babies usually pickup the energy in room. But the reward paid off as this was my first session that included both Grandparents.

Thank you Steve and Jila for allowing me in your home to photograph this fantastic stage in your lives. I can’t wait for our next session!

Nelia {Newborn}

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing newborn baby Nelia. You might remember her “Sneak Peak“.

You will see Nelia holding mommy Shadi’s finger. I love showing comparisons so you’ll also see proud father Alex holding Nelia’s tiny foot. I was even able to quickly snap a few photographs of big sister Eily. I tied it all together at the end with a family session.

Alex and Shadi you have an amazing family! It was an honor to be back in your home capturing anther stage of life for you guys. Thank you so very much!
