Steve & Charlene {Engagement}

A few weeks ago I had a great engagement session with Steve and Charlene. You might remember their “Sneak Peak”.

We met in Redondo Beach where they used to live.

I also found out that is the place where Steve proposed to Charlene.

Then we strolled around the streets a bit.

I kept picking spots that had some texture. Below was an awesome astro turf wall.

After Redondo Beach we went to the place where they met, their work.

They happen to work for a beautiful golf course.

Steve and Charlene changed so they could hit a few balls. But first I found this great area.

A few swings just for the camera…lol

I think this is the only photograph they have in a golf cart.

We ended the session with them looking out to their future together.

Steve and Charlene, I look forward to seeing you again in October for your wedding.
I know we’ll have a lot more fun and stories to tell. Thanks again for allowing me to do what I love!

Caiden’s 1st Birthday Party {Event}

Few weeks back I had the pleasure taking part of Caiden’s 1st Birthday Party. Proud parents Robert and Debbie knew it was going to be a very busy day full of family and friends and 20 kids running around that they might miss some photo opps. So they hired me to photograph the day. It was such a blast! When do you see kids having the most fun; when you mix sugar and comedy! :+)

Before I begin you might of seen Caiden before as he has been a client of mine since he was a a few months old. I had the honor of photographing his Newborn Session and the Family’s Holiday Session and now his 1st Birthday Party. We are scheduling his 1 year photography session. So don’t worry, you’ll see this bundle of joy a few more times in the near future.

But for now, let me share the festivities with you all.

Message from San Diego Zoo {Published Work}

After going to San Diego’s Wild Animal Park for the first time in 2006 I fell in love with the place. I even bought a year pass.

On November 22, 2006 to started a group on Flickr called Wild Animal Park. At that time there was no such group. What started out with one member (me) quickly grew to 50, then 100, then 250 and now over 375 members in the group.

Since the group grew it caught the eye of the park. So Matt Steele the Social Media Planner from the park contact me in July. Here’s his message.

Hey Anthony,

My name is Matt Steele, Social Media Planner for the San Diego Zoo. I saw that you’re the admin for the Wild Animal Park Group, and I’m very impressed with the content you’ve created and solicited, and how much you’ve grown the group. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to make us an admin of the group as well so we can start leveraging the content. Thanks again for the great work!

How could I refuse the park admin permission. So I gave it to them. The cool thing, I still have my admin rights. I received a second message from Matt making my day!
