Today I want to change it up and highlight a couple of people I’ve enjoyed photographing.
| Natalie |
I’ve known Natalie for several years now. She’s a strong, caring and most of all a wonderful woman. Nat or Natally are my nicknames for her depending on my mood. If I’m bouncing it’s Natally and if I’m rushing it’s short and sweet Nat.
Natalie come to us from Georgia. She has a great southern accent which I totally love. She has that great charm and hospitality that you don’t find here in California. Here is one of my most favorite photographs from our photography session in Cerritos, CA. Thank you Natalie for trusting me and allowing me to photograph you!

| Kris |
Talk about a fun session! Kris is an adult entertainer that lives in the Hollywood Hills. He needed some new portraits that were a little different then the typical studio portrait. So during my consultation with him, I thought what would be perfect then a shoot on location in Hollywood. We started talking more and more and came up with a few locations in Hollywood. We did not want the typical photograph on the Hollywood strip or at a popular hot spot. I mentioned the Hollywood Hills as the houses and backdrop of the Hollywood Sign would be an added bonus. He said that would be awesome! I had an idea to go outside of Madonna’s old house, you know the one she painted like candy stripes that upset the neighborhood. In my mind I had an idea to photograph Kris up against the gates. It was so much fun to see my vision come to life. I think this is totally what I needed for this edgy guy. I hope you agree.

If you’ve been to Hollywood, you’ll know it’s a lot of driving and turning through these hills. Each turn you make you see something. It’s kind of funny how this next photograph came about. We are leaving the gates of Madonna’s old house and walked to the left we see the Hollywood sign. When we parked we had come down the hill making tons of turns and right their in front of you is the Hollywood Sign. If this didn’t call out to me and say photograph me! So I had Kris standing out in the middle of the street starting to pose. I said stop and give me how you stand everyday. Here is the end result.

I hope you enjoyed today’s blog.
